A Chrome extension with no use at all

Turn any website into sand.

Crumble freezes the page you're on and gives you three taps to wreck it. Falling sand breaks whatever it lands on, chains multiply your score, and what's left pours into your next tab.

Chain reactions

Sand that falls fast enough breaks what it hits. One good tap can bring down the whole page.

✨

One gold block

Every page hides one. It pays five times the points, gives a tap back and bursts into gold sand.

Your tabs are next

Hit the target and your sand pours into the next tab. Miss it and the run is over.

How it plays

  1. 1Click the buttonOn any page, click Crumble in the toolbar (or press Alt+Shift+C). The page freezes into something you can break.
  2. 2Tap a blockIts sand falls on whatever is below, and a hard enough hit breaks that too. Quick breaks build a chain, up to ×10.
  3. 3Hit the targetEach tab asks you to destroy a share of the page: 30% on the first, more on every tab after. Chains earn taps back.
  4. 4SpreadYour sand pours into the next tab and starts smashing. You get fewer taps as you go. How many tabs can you take?

Every tab is a clip

Crumble records each tab while you play. When it ends, press Save clip and you get a video with sound, ready to post.

Nothing is uploaded anywhere. The video is made on your computer.

Does it change the website?

No. Crumble breaks a picture of the page. Press Esc and the real page is right where you left it.

What can it see?

Only the tab you click it on, when you click it. The first time you spread to another tab, Chrome asks you to allow that.

Does it collect anything?

No accounts, no analytics, no servers. Your scores and the sites you've crumbled stay in your browser.

What is it for?

Nothing. It's fun, and that's the whole point.
